Adopt-A-Small Group

Small groups are an important part of our ministry here in Ozark and provide for many students a community of friends and Christian leaders to teach, train, and equip them through the Word of God. We are looking for people willing to adopt a small group to provide small group leaders opportunities to better pursue students in their small group. Options can be anything from bringing treats to small group meetings, transportation to and from a small group event, or opening up your house for a movie night. There is no limit on how often you provide for your adopted small group but we are asking that that twice a semester something be done for a adopted small group. Feel free to ask small group leaders, or get ahold of Goose or Tamara at the K-Life house 667-5222 for information and ideas on how to help out. Thanks for joining us in reaching out to kids in Ozark.
Our theme for 07-08

Life is inevitable. There's no escaping it. Day in day out people of all ages face challenges that can test the strongest of minds. For some, these challenges are something to look forward to and others a dreary realization. The result of each answer to the daily test of life will begin to shape and define our character. Making a choice to follow Christ or the world is a daily decision we all make. Each decision we all make can begin down a road that leads to either life or death.
Youth in Ozark are in a unique stage of their lives. Shaping and molding their character, decisions are made without thought or reflection of future consequences. Living for the moment, Ozark youth are missing a healthy view of what it looks like to live life to the fullest. Their character is shaped and molded by friends, television, radio, magazines, and less and less by the Word of God, the life of Christ, and the faith of those who have walked before us.
Our goal this year is to tackle life's challenges head on, test them against the Word of God, and prepare the youth of Ozark to make the right choice when the opportunity arises. All of us have made poor choices in the past but the opportunity to teach the youth of Ozark to succeed in the future begins now. From here on out the responsibility is ours to coach, educate, and train the youth of Ozark for the daily challenges that they will without a doubt faceā¦and help them to live life to the fullest and the way He intended it to be lived!
